EASTBOURNE PIER ...

Did a quick lap of Eastbourne Pier on the way home today.Sadly its getting rather run down in places now.All I could think of was the similarities to Hastings Pier before it was forced to close down.High Maintenance and hardly anyone there off season.I'm glad the New Hastings Pier Regeneration Project has gone for a more basic approach with a lot of open space and not heavy on the structure building-wise.
In Eastbourne again tomorrow so possibly another Pier related Blip.I like Piers...
