Seaways of the world

I was starring at my quality map this evening trying to work out the ocean route of our hundreds of containers which depart from the Far East & 40 days later arrive at Felixstowe. I know they travel through the Suez Canal & the Mediterranean but there is a complicated set of Islands from say Shanghai to Malaysia which doesn't explain the route. Times like this I realise why I haven't got many friends....
