Jewelled

The strands of this spider's web, wet with the dew, shine like rows of diamonds in the morning sunshine. The web's creator lies in wait!

A day of beautiful autumn sunshine which as it faded, threw over the world a warming amber glow. My highlight was seeing three curlews, flying overhead in a staggered line, their long curved beaks silhouetted against the sky and their brown feathers tinged orange from the low rays of sunshine.
