The Moon...

One of the great things about life...as well as photography is that you should never be too old to learn sometnign new - in fact it is a good thing to keep pushing yourself, learning new skills, trying something new.

It may work out...it may not but unless you give it a bash you will never know.

i have always wanted to try and get some good images of the moon but up until now I have never managed it - seen some great images - most notably by Edinburgh photographer Grant Ritchie

So tonight tried and failed - so got back home - looked up the good old "Tinterweb" and looked for tips and hints on how to capture the moon.

Managed to get some advice - went outside and shot this....and now I am quite happy with the outcome.

Would love to try it with a larger zoom lens and also try and incorporate some foreground features..but for now I shall be happy at this for a starter.
