Training tonight consisted of a practice game against Grammar School Boys. 'Twas a great run out.

Disappointed that my weekend Blips didn't process properly:

Saturday's was taken from the Crow's Nest at lunchtime- great view of Castle Cornet! Rendezvous with Ollie's Bruv & Sis-in law, undercover, because they were visiting as a surprise for Their mum's surprise bday that night. So many texts were being sent out 'alpha bravo' style in order for the surprise to be concealed until the evening.
It was a v successful and enjoyable evening at La Fregate. 3 more family members had managed to make it to the rock without Linda knowing. 12 of us in all. Was such a lovely get-together and it couldn't get any better with a meal of scallops to start followed by good old melt in your mouth Chateau Briand!!!

Sunday's Blip was supposed to be the Guernsey Orchestra playing during a delicious roast lunch at the Doghouse with friends. Superb entertainment, albeit a little bit too loud for conversation.

I always look forward to my weekend Blips, but the whole exciting undercover operation made it difficult to Blip in the nick of time.
