Hooked map of the World

This is a close-up of a piece I have in my current exhibition at The Holy Biscuit. It is actually a 'hooked' map of the World which I have upholstered onto a coffin, my husband and I made in our backyard. Symbolic of the issues the World is facing. Made using recycled fabrics, hooky matting or rag rugs, is a lovely craft to use up clothes that have past their best.Towards the end of the week, the exhibition is coming down and I will need to get my studio tidy ready for Ouseburn Open Studios this weekend - no pressure! Plus, I need to finish upholstering the lovely patchwork chair I blipped a few days ago, hopefully to sell (fingers crossed!)
