party day

busy busy decorating the house for Em's party. We have a 'big top' in the dining room, thriftily fashioned from strips of cheap red and white plastic tablecloths swagged from the ceiling, paper red, blue and yellow bunting and fairy lights strung up. Surprisingly effective, even if I do say so myself! Lovely party, good friends. Em on good form.... until her balloon popped in the garden after the party bag treasure hunt. Well we thought there probably would be tears at some point!
