Thank you for the music

I went to the BBC Radio 2 Thank You for the Music do in Hyde Park today. It was really quite funny and I now realise I know almost all Abba lyrics! Well I did listen to them a lot when I was about 7 & 8 years old, it must've stuck.

These twins were standing just behind us and they were having a great time, even had a few dance routines - & had been to the Proms in the park and seen Barry Manilow the evening before!

What was quite odd was there were loads ( well not loads, but a lot ) of people that were moved to tears by the Abba songs. At one point we were in tear sandwich with a bloke on each side of our little group with tears streaming down their cheeks. I know the Winner Takes it All and stuff are quite sad but I was surprised to see men crying.

I've got Thank You for the Music stuck in my head now...I hope it isn't there when I awake.

p.s. Kylie was excellent, she can sing.
