my practice piece

I needed to try out a method new to me to border the quilts so this was my practice piece. My grands are so grown up now (the youngest will be FIVE this week! oh, my!) they say they are too old for the border priints and princesses. So the younger prints have been passed to the box for making things to donate. I am hoping this pretty princess quilt will brighten a little girls bed soon.

and now I can get on with finishing Toria's & Trina's quilts. Fall is right around the corner, Grandma!
