Bad hair day for the Heron.

This photo just fell into my lap.......... we went down to put the boat in the water, and PJ said, "Look at that."
The Heron was sitting on a pile of gravel that had been left there by the people who do the roads around here.
All I had with me was my cellphone, so got a couple on that and was able to walk within about 4 metres of the heron.
After getting the boat off, I went back to the house and got the camera with the big 120-400mm lens, but didn't get as close as I had got before, so only got 2 shots before it flew off.
