City Lights

We left Masterton today and are now in Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand.

It's a huge day for Daughter A as its exhibition day for this years work, her final year at uni and has passed with honours - hubby and I are so proud. We attended speeches and then with thousands of others walked the floors and viewed many projects of industrial, textiles, and visual communication designs, along with photography and fine arts, all were totally amazing. The exhibition remains open for two weeks for the public to view and well worth a visit.

Daughter A is still waiting to hear if she was successful with her last interview as a design consultant. Her interview was in the Majestic Centre the tallest building in Wellington with 26 floors - its on the left in this image, tall and around - its being earthquake strengthened floor by floor, its how we tend to think these days.

I was chuffed with this shot, thought it turned out well considering it was taken through the window of our hotel, its not often I get the chance to take an evening shot like this. I really like the glow of the lights and the mood of the cloud lying low, hope it lifts by the morning as we fly home :)
