populations of holocaust survivors in
the world ( according to DK travel book).
Kenneth Treister's gut-wrenching bronze
hand stretches skyward, it is stamped
with an Auschwitz number and is covered
with nearly 100 life-size statues of men,
women and children in the throes of
incredible grief, as if that isn't harrowing
enough the walls and leading to it
are inscribed with thousand and thousands
of victims names .
