Light Horizon

Clouds rolled in today.
Although they never managed a blanket.
I spent most of the day hanging a student exhibition at the Arts Centre.
I think it's going to look quite good.
By the time I packed up the light was fading fast.
When I arrived at the beach there was still a little lightness on the horizon
So I grabbed it!
Sure that as the day came to an end the light would just go flat.
Called it a day and went to collect my wife from an afternoon of shopping.

Looks like the first serious frost is on the way
It's going to be very cold starting tomorrow,
weather is coming down from the arctic
according to the car radio.
