Or more to the point " Where's the idiot that got up at 7am on a Sunday morning to be ready for an early morning race in Leeds "

Oh that would be all of them ! I was one of the 12,000 that descended on a Leeds today to run.

A cracking race commentated by Brian who had come all the way over the border from Lancashire ( yes they let him in without quarantine ) and he did a bloody marvellous job. Really got the crowd going , he was engaging , enigmatic and very very loud . He supported the fastest and the slowest and the middlest ( me ) and was very good at thanking all the people that get forgotten about at things like this : the medical staff. More to the point he really bigged up Leeds and Yorkshire ( good man ) . He embodied the fun , energy, support and cameraderie that these things are all about

Oh and when it all ended he did a little song and dance to This little dittie AND GOT ASKED FOR A BLOODY ENCORE!! That song will always remind me of you now
