Montgomery

Today is the birthday of Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery. He was born on this day in 1887.

This blip is a photo of my Grandfathers Active Service Bible with the following inscription:

Grandad was Montgomery's personal cobbler and this message shows what sort of a leader he was - one whose men, privates and officers alike, were all important.

This bible is family possession to be proud of.
