Tug of war!

Gloomy and horrible again today.
Robyn and Dan came round with Betsy, so we could all go for a dog walk to the local Leechpool woods.
It was a shame the sun wasn't shining as the colours in the forest were really good, but I knew any pics taken today would be rubbish in the dreary light, so instead I opted for a picture of Pee Wee and Betsy having a tug of war with a huge stick they had found. Sadly the picture isn't quite as clean as it might be as a silly little pug kept getting in the way!
Pee Wee being a Staffi x loves sticks, as does Betsy for the same reason and having found this quite substantial one they decided to spend ages rushing around trying to steal it from each other! At times it was quite dangerous, as it thumped you round the legs! at least the dogs had good fun!
Later in the walk they found a rotting sapling, and Pee Wee systematically ripped it to shreds using both her teeth and claws, I was quite impressed, especially as she seemed to be showing Betsy how to do it too...maybe we can lend them out?
Looks like it is getting colder......That could mean some good shots!
