Bean burnin'

Time to bed Lottie down for Winter.

We are promised snow this week so the bean frames are down and the dry beans harvested for next years seed. The dry vines are burned to tidy up and keep the potash on the plot.

The last of the courgettes have become slug hotels so they have been dispensed with and next week I will clear the plots for digging and manuring before the snows and frosts.
