St Mary's Parish Church, Kirkintilloch, Glasgow

I took this photograph from the Forth and Clyde Canal tow path, and then walked along to the new Marina. I had seen the Marina featured in Shine-A-Light's journal, and wanted to check it out.

St Mary's was completed in 1914. The Gothic Tower can be seen from almost anywhere in "Kirkie". I have memories of attending Girl Guide parades here.

I met up with lots of old friends today, some of whom I hadn't seen for nearly 30 years. Photos, songs and special memories. Many thanks to those who organised it.
