Hill of Fare
Took advantage of a good bright morning to wander up the Hill of Fare ( about 1500ft) . Seemingly its classified as a Marilyn - a hill with a relative height of over 150m. There's 1217 in Scotland so clearly I won't be be attempting to bag these when the Munros are finished. More here.
Quite a stiff climb through lovely forest to the top but worth it for the great views of the Cairngorms and Lochnagar. It can be easily climbed from the Raemoir Hotel - one of the best places to eat in the North East.
