what peg?

A happier day in the puphouse. They have taken on board it's Sunday and enjoyed a day of rest after a walk. Change of plan for today's route march. After yesterday's exertions climbing over fallen trees and squelching though mud I wanted a non-muddy flat walk and hoped the Husband might buy my lunch out. I was planning to walk the promenade at Seaford near the outside cafe but as it was spitting with rain it seemed best to save that for another day.

We walked around Shinewater Lake which is a 2 mile circuit. It's not a scenic walk so I didn't take the camera although I would have like a picture of Emily and Grace yapping back at the grumpy swans. Met a few other dogs without incident and the pups weren't at all bothered by bicycles or pushchairs.

A huge sleep when we got home giving me time to read a whole book, waking up when I started preparing dinner... A quick raid of my laundry room for some wooden pegs to turn into splinters. Make a change from stealing more personal items I guess :)
