Aunty Bet

This is the woman that keeps me sane when all is going Pete Tong.

I have a very small family, I'm an only child and have no cousins.

I arrived in Bet's home the day before her 13th birthday. I think my mum and dad were living with my nan for a while and my mum had me at home.

Having no family around my age, Bet has always been sort of half aunty and half sister. Best of both worlds really.

Since my mum and nan have died, she's filled in for those roles too.

I know I can phone her anytime and she'll give me the right advice. She also encourages my bad behaviour!

Wish I'd have got a snap of her with my uncle, Rob, too but didn't manage it.
