4.15 wake-up call…..not good news as I’m a night owl, but when there’s a good reason I don’t mind. Having had a successful Christmas shopping spree in Duty Free, I settled down for the 8hr flight to Toronto with Air Canada.

We then took a 90 minute flight to Quebec in a Bombardier Q400, an odd looking plane, very narrow with two seats either side of the central isle.

It is much colder here and the taxi driver says that it will snow tomorrow!!
