Still some colour

Despite it being a dreary, grey day there was still colour to be found. In some sheltered areas of the wood the spreading beech branches are holding their leaves and it's magical when you look down on them and they form a layer of colour hovering above the dark woodland floor. A cold spell next week will start to dislodge these leaves as well.
