I was hoping that there would be lots of tuis and bellbirds around the area I stayed but there weren't - just the odd one or two who occasionally sang their song to let us know they were around. Very sweet.

Can't say I did very much with the day - in fact, I can't say I did anything with the day. I think that's what made it great!
