In a corner

A panorama of Bath taken at lunchtime today from the fields about halfway up Bathwick Hill.

Note that I was standing in a corner of the field when I took this so the hedge on the left and the fence on the right are actually at right angles to each other rather than parallel as they appear here. The image represents a sweep of about 90 degrees.

This shot was stitched together from 17 separate images using Hugin and lightly post-processed in Gimp.

Best viewed big on my Flickr stream.

Have had a great today so far today. Another cycle ride this morning, including a longish climb up Bathwick Hill (which I used to do every day to get to the University but which I hardly ever do now), followed by a family 'roast' lunch at Chequers - it's Daisy's last weekend before going off to uni so we thought we'd treat ourselves. It's a great place to go for Sunday lunch btw - the food was spot on.
