Squaxin Veterans Memorial

Today we went to a holiday bazaar at the Squaxin tribal museum. The museum is a wonderful place and a showcase of the culture of the Squaxin people. Outside, right next to the building, is a memorial for Squaxin veterans. Because the tribe is coastal, a canoe paddle is used as the means of memorializing the person.
