Roadside Memorial.

This is one of the biggest roadside memorials I've ever seen.

On Dec 8 last year a car carrying 5 young people broke down on the motorway, a car travelling with them went off to find some help.

Whilst they were gone, a young man in another car crashed into the parked car, killing himself and 4 of the occupants, the young driver of the parked car managed to escape.

One of the couples who died had a 1 year old daughter.

Nobody will ever know what happened, as both cars burst into flames, destroying all evidence of the driver and the car that caused the crash.

This memorial is actually on another road away from where the accident occurred, on the motorway. It was moved as it was too dangerous for people to keep stopping to have a look at it.
