Sparrow Hawk?

In all the time I have lived here (12 years) I have never seen one of these in the garden. He was eying up our large colony of Sparrows who live in the hedge and was not at all interested in what was in the food tray. I don't know what Mr. T is feeding the birds on, but it looks like a load of old dog ends to me?

Tired and delirious now - Sunday and the Craft Fair is upon us in about 11 hours - need to get some sleep before then !
