It is fun being three in the autumn...

I was joined by two of my friends for my walk today which was brilliant as we were each able to keep an eye on one of the youngsters - Cara, Bruce and 3 yr old L . It was a stunningly beautiful day with warm sunshine and walking along the river was a delight. Most of the leaves have now fallen and the carpet of leaves was thick and at last crisp thanks to the lack of rainfall over the past few days. It took me right back to my own childhood to watch the wonderful and spontaneous fun that L had with kicking the leaves to hear them rustle and then picking up handfuls to throw in the air. He really didn't want to stop!
