Reflections

This weekend I'm in England to visit my sister and her husband in their new home. Today we took a trip into London, always one of my favourite places to visit. In the morning we went to the O2 arena, and climbed over the roof, which was pretty cool! The weather was perfect and it was fun to be up there, all kitted up in highly attractive jumpsuits and harnesses.

After lunch we caught a boat down the Thames and took a trip up the Shard, for a view over London as the sun went down. Unfortunately the clouds had rolled in so we didn't get the sunset we hoped for, but it was still great to be there, watching the city gradually light up as darkness arrived. It was pretty difficult to get a photo without any reflections from the glass so I thought I'd embrace them and try to include some of the other sightseers in the top half of my blip. Previous reports of slightly dirty windows also turned out to be true, but I guess it's not so simple to keep them clean! After a couple of drinks we hopped back on a train and headed home - a cool day in the capital! :)
