A Nod to Days Gone By

Part of the old hospital that is used for training now adays and I spent the afternoon there on a course.

I remember when out staff canteen was here and we used to go in stare in wonder/ horror at the last of the dying breed of sisters who wore cotton hats that stood inches, nay feet, offtheir heads

The room we were in for training actually had photos of some of these sisters going back to early 20th century. A scary display but I bet there was no MRSA and poor standards of care back in the day of scary nurses. Jeremy Hunt wouldn't] have a leg to stand on with his anti nhs policy.
