Iconic

Arts and Crafts Fair at St Hilda's this morning with lots of lovely items to buy (including bacon sandwiches). One lady with a wonderful Welsh Valleys accent was selling "icons" like this one of St Hilda which I decided to buy. It's big postcard size and looks lovely on the study wall. We celebrate our patronal festival tomorrow so it all seems to link together very well. I like the image of Hilda holding the Church in her hands. To me at the moment the people of the Church need her loving hands.
