Windfalls

Daughter number one and grandson popped over today, went for a walk around Thornham Walks. The walled garden contains loads of apple trees, and looks like the recent winds did some damage the other week. Seems such a shame so many of them have been dumped.

After a wonderful hot chocolate from the cafe there, highly recommended, we came home and had sausage & onion rolls. Definite nip in the air, not managed to get my feet warm for most of the day.

Three things to appreciate
1. Open fire in the cafe to take the chill off for a moment
2. Hot chocolate drink
3. Freshly made brownies!
