To Go for a Burn Up

After the rigours of the pulling down and rebuilding of the fence over the last couple of days I have been left with much rubbish to dispose of.

We have found that portions of the old paling fence can be easily broken up and make wonderful kindling. This has all been separated out for future use. The remainder of the planks can also be salvaged and the pile of them on the right are destined to become bird nesting boxes.

So these are destined to become homes for great tits, blue tits sparrows and perhaps the odd nuthatch next spring.
