Last blast.

Leaving the church coffee morning at about lunchtime we had a little bit of sun illuminating the last of the leaves on the cherry trees on Wilsden Road, one of the two main thoroughfares through our village (and where we used to live 30+ years ago).

As the forecast for this week includes 'wintry showers' I am assuming this will be the last blast of autumn glory.

I frequently photograph these trees in May when they are full of blossom. Only 6 months to wait then!
