Another First

Last Saturday on the high fells of Cumbria we met with the first snow of the season. Today I spotted my first snowdrops. A local man has a vast collection of many varieties and he was happy for me to get down on the floor to get this shot, he explained they are an early variety and as you can see they're actually past their best, but I think they look lovely.

A low level shorter run this morning without too much exertion to let the antibiotics do their work. The six miles up to our local trigpoint and back through the woods provided a few snaps, but the snowdrops won the day for a blip : )
