studio prep

Tomorrow morning Chris' family is coming over for our annual holiday portrait session. So tonight I dusted off the 'big camera' and fumbled through setting up the backdrop & lights. Studio photography is not really my thing, especially when the studio is the left half of our living room and setup takes a good 90 minutes. But somehow I manage each year to end up with a few photos that are good enough for the Christmas cards... thank goodness for digital.

Not sure why I felt the need to jump up & down during my test shots. Had to dial down the light and move forward a bit to get rid of that shadow.
