Phnom Penn - my last day in Cambodia
Long day already, awake early, tummy not too good, might have been the tarantula I had for starters last night! Tastes like bacon! Only trouble the legs get stuck in your teeth :-)
Had a walk into town after breakfast to get today's blip and get a final look around. The Central Market is only a few hundred yards away and is an amazing place. It's huge and full of so much it takes an age to walk around the outside and it's many spines towards its centre. There must be hundreds of individual stall holders competing for business.
The surrounding shops complement the market with bigger items such as mobile generators, fridges, phones, animals, luggage, water coolers, air conditioners, etc etc....
Now back at the hotel to post this before heading off to the airport.
I will be leaving the country with many fond memories. It's not always been easy and the trip has taken me outside my normal comfort zone but I am very glad I came. If you ever get the chance to travel to this part of the world do try and drop in.
Next blip England I guess.
