Well, this is what we have been up to - improving the surface of a path or paths to be exact. They were fine in summer but in winter - yuck with mud after a rain storm.
First we thought of covering them with gravel - it gets stuck in your boots though,
then we thought of little stones - too noisy
and then came up with the idea of wood chippings.
Couldn't find them anywhere but at the sawmill, so they kindly let us climb in a skip and load up a few bin liners full.
45 to be exact - done in 3 trips.
Let's hope it will be a success. If anybody thinks it is a bad idea, could you please not tell me.
