Children

It's the annual Children in Need appeal day once again in the UK. Always a fun day on the calendar and an important one too, as it raises millions of pounds for youngsters who need help. Our regional tv show was broadcast from Hexham this year and as luck would have it we were already there for Grace's swimming lesson this afternoon. So after the lesson we walked up into town. It was a bit too busy for my liking and hard to move around, but the girls had a lovely time going on the rides, having their faces painted and listening to the bands on stage. Just before we headed home, we got some tea from the chippy and sat on a bench outside the abbey to eat them.
