CHIGBOROUGH LAKES

We went to Chigborough Lakes, an Essex Wildlife Reserve. We had not been here before, but the reserves book said it was good for wintering wildfowl.

We had a lovely walk round the four lakes in the sunshine. We were quite disappointed because we were unable to get close to the water as trees were growing up to and in the water at the edges.

I managed to take this shot over the first lake by precariously leaning to find a gap!
