A wee trip to Glasgow after work for a sort of a seminar thing organised by the Market Research Society. New technology stuff. It was so so. Much vagueness and over claiming. A wee beer with a colleague in the authentically worn Vale bar near the station. Lovely pint of Bitter and Twisted. Many police guarding the Duke of Wellington to keep the cones off. Actually, they were there to ensure public order at the official switch on of the dull Christmas lights.
