LAST PIECE STANDING

It was time to remove the land art display that I had placed at Great Bow Wharf in Langport. They had been there since March, and the staff were sorry to see them go, so I asked them to chose one that would stay indefinitely and this is it.

It's a piece of field maple. Somewhat bleached now, and starting to carry lichens, it was a good choice to make as the changes that will come will emerge slowly on this.
