Season of seedheads
With the colder weather, grey skies and general drabness in the countryside and garden, I find this is the time I start noticing the beauty of seedheads. This one is on the remains of a Globe Thistle, which was one of the great bee attractants in the garden and a long flowerer this year. I'll be happy to get a lot of seedlings in my flower beds from these parachute seeds. Hopefully, the neighbours will welcome a few as well and allow them to grow on.
