Swan Lake.

I took the dogs down to Strichen Lake this morning and saw these two beauties.
I managed to slip on a wet piece of wood and fell on my bum. Fortunately only my pride was hurt! No-one saw me apart from the dogs and they're sworn to secrecy!!
I saw the Mutton Birds a couple of times a few years ago. They were from New Zealand.
I think they're still performing occasionally. I have three or four CDs by them and this is one of my favourite tracks.
Just remembered, when we we going to see the Muttonbirds about fifteen years ago, I had a blow out on a tyre. I managed to control the car and no accident . However, I had to change the tyre as the traffic zoomed past.
The odd thing is that when I pass the spot where I had the blow-out, which is about very four weeks, I think of the Muttonbirds. The power of association!
