Mono...bloomin'...Friday

Already?

Blippers, my glasses are not ready yet. No, they have not yet been returned to the optometrist's premises. Turns out they had to be done by someone speshul who they had to be sent to who hasn't done them yet. No shadow of a doubt someone is following that up...there is a note attached to the front of the file (didn't you hear me, madam, when I implied the first time someone is onto it?).

Great BIG wink. Hmm. New rule of grammar...'i' is an interchangeable vowel with 'a' after 'w'.

This is the third optometrist I have gone to attempting to secure the aforesaid glasses and the third appointment was a month ago going on 5 weeks now. Yet the advice I was given at the appointment was the glasses would be ready perhaps by the end of the week following the appointment, most definitely the beginning of the next week. I didn't ask for that deadline. Nevertheless, I did wonder if I was imagining being gushed over with promises.

Soon I promise I will be naming the amount I paid for the speshul person I knew nothing of when I paid for these glasses and naming the optometrists.

Far ... far ... more speshul than I. I am out in "the sticks" as Australia's rural areas are called and cannot immediately go and park myself in that office until I am shown evidence of where these glasses are being made by the speshul person they have been sent to for their speshul making that as it has turned out they need, y'know, with all "the fiddly" ... something something ... bibs 'n bobs was perhaps the technical expression used to assist the customer understand speshul.

The speshulness of it all. To think that people have to put up with this and the older they get, how intolerable. All good. I'm alive and kicking. :)
