Boy & Bear

I had a bit of a panic thinking I'd forgotten to take a photo today, but it was on my my phone. Phew!

Another day of report writing today. The pressure's on because it's due Wednesday and I'm not nearly done.

Luckily I had a nice evening to look forward to - Julia, Liv and I had tickets to see Boy & Bear at The Forum. We met early for a lovely dinner (and a bottle of wine) before heading to the venue. I didn't know any of the support bands and I didn't love either of them so we mostly just chatted until Boy & Bear came on. I was a bit ambivalent about the gig for some reason but that disappeared when they started playing - they are amazing live, and I do love their music. Boy & Bear's first album is one of my favourites so it was great to hear those songs live again (I first saw this band live two years ago). All in all, a lovely night!

This photo is of the MCG from the corner of Flinders Street and Russell Street - it looks out over the railway lines that come into Flinders Street Station from all over Melbourne. I quite like this one, I have to say!
