The road to the weekend

I have a great job and am really privileged to work with such brilliant people. I'm pleased to see the end of this week though as it's been a tad on the crazy side.

I think dreaming about work - where your boss is wearing high shine magenta cycling leggings and your deputy director has somebody else's face - is a sign I need a chilled weekend.

At least my last meeting of the week was in this rather lovely setting.

Weekend starts with an evening with Donna Tartt, the author of the wonderful The Secret History. I'm leaving her new book until the Christmas hols - it's about 900 pages long!
