Rare situation having Callum join me on a shoot today, possibly only the second time ever. Been working against time on doing a newborn session with a new client, but I've been challenged on finding an appointment time. So, I asked Callum if he'd like to join me today and later, I asked if he'd like to do my job (incidentally, he goes to a Creative Academy school once a week and does photography class since it's much easier learning from someone else apparently). He replies "No. Because you don't make faces like that (points his tongue out). Tell your other clients you have to do good things with happy faces, not bad things. Some of your other clients do that." I'll bear that in mind thanks, love.

Am eagerly awaiting the mini weekend away for my 45th. To say that events of the last few weeks have been tough, well. So my plan is to sit by the pool on Coronado Island where Some Like it Hot was filmed and do little more than nothing. Of course, the rest of the time will be spent building sandcastles with the boys and running after them, but tis the thought of relaxation that counts.

Utterly beautiful weather today, back in the 80s. Such is SoCal.
