Then back to the office briefly, pick up the kids from school, and north! To Mapua, near Nelson.

First time in nearly 2 years since friends have moved up, so time for a visit. 5 hour drive that the kids coped with, but it certainly for whatever reason feels longer than driving to Queenstown, weirdly.

Great to arrive, see friends, dinner, a wine, and bed! Bliss.
